Essential Skills & Qualifications
5 years (or more) of experience in Software Development in JAVA
Practical experience (> 1 year) working with Docker
Hands-on experience in tracing applications in distributed/microservices environment with usage of modern tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Zipkin, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash or similar)
Experience working with JEE containers/frameworks (e.g. Spring)
Experience working with RESTful Web Services
Ability to detect and fix performance bottlenecks
Knowledge of asynchronous messaging or streaming technologies (e.g. Apache Pulsar, JMS, Apache Kafka)
Good knowledge of SQL (preferable Client SQL) and JPA
Analytical and logical thinking skills
Practical knowledge of design patterns
Practical experience working with Junit
Ability to fast learn new technologies
Fluent written and spoken English
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of mocking frameworks (JMockit, Mockito, EasyMock)
Experience working with Git, Maven and Jira
Experience working in international environment
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Openshift or Kubernetes
