About the role
- Hadoop Senior Developer ( 6 to 9 Years of Experience)
Technical skills in Hadoop - HDFS, Hive, Scala with strong HQL Knowledge
Performing data ingestion and extraction in HDFS
Writing complex hive queries for data processing
Writing shell scripts for data processing, cleansing and DB connectivity
Developing/Monitoring/bug-fixing control-M jobs
Should have experience in 1 or 2 project implementations, post project deployment support/issue resolution
Work with Client to take up requirement and work with developers as a team
Right skill to communicate effortlessly with business and conduct UAT with Business users, Can take ownership of end to end development
Work with junior developers and drive development activities as and when needed
Strong analytical skill - to investigate and provide RCA for defects and issues
Having Banking domain experience is an advantage
With skills in documentation of processes, operational manual
