Hadoop & Teradata- Sr.Hadoop Developer

The Role Responsibilities

Analyse issues reported by users and provide solutions/clarification

Provide system improvement plans for repeated issues to improve application stability.

Analysis of existing jobs for identifying the performance bottlenecks and implement the fine tuning of the jobs

Schedule Optimization for ETL jobs to give best performance of the data loads

Automatic ETL monitoring process to raise alerts for long running ETLs due to delay in file arrival or any unexpected delays ins job completion

Must be strong in technical and Teradata GCFR knowledge

Perform production support activities by providing issue analysis and resolution within the specified SLA, depending on the severity of the issue.

Work with vendor and Fix product defects.

Manage the Remedy/Ticket and keep the latest information in the system

Provide support during S@R & Medium priority and during DR drill

To build relationship & network with stakeholders within & outside the immediate team

Do testing and implementation for periodic BAU fix release

Strong in Unix scripting, SQL,PL/SQL

Support and coordinate system implementations through the project lifecycle (initiation, planning, analysis / design, development, implementation, testing, rollout, and hand-over) working with other teams on a local and global basis.

Work closely with the technical, vendors, DevOps and cloud initiative/POC oriented tasks to define the target detailed solution to deliver the business requirements.
