MQ Admin

Providing monitoring and production support for IBM MQ

Solutioning build, security, encryption and certificate requirements for IBM MQ

Automating repeated tasks for IBM MQ Configuring queues, channels and other MQ objects Designing High Availability and user access for MO

Restricting access to limited users/groups in MQ server

Providing monitoring solutions for IBM MQ Working and Supporting MQ server and client installs

Troubleshooting, debugging and interacting with vendor on MQ issues

Participate in meetings with technical staff to discuss issues in plans and strategies.

Work during assigned shift and be responsible for the MQ servers in Isolated room Be accountable for all Production issues

Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions.

Strong Unix experience with UNIX shells scripting: RedHat Linux. Knowledge of infrastructure I network components

(Big IP, 3DNS, Firewalls).

Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands, prioritize work, and manage customer expectation.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
