Imaging

Develop custom hardware/software profiles and components using Microsoft’s Windows Embedded platform.

Requires detailed knowledge of Windows (Win 10/Win 7/200x), windows registry, Applications, and computer drive imaging technologies (Symantec Ghost, Microsoft Image-X), and client platforms and related hardware. Configuration manager OSD with MDT integration.

Creating online/offline image and should be able to build devices through PXE.

Planning and execution of global image.

Creating DELL driver packages for global image and updating the drivers for existing devices.

Support of global OSD operations.

Managing and troubleshooting issues for imaging.

Assisting field engineers to build devices.

Responsible for maintaining 1E Nomad environment.

Updating the Precache content through 1E Nomad and providing regular update to clients.

Should be able to manage OSD related issues

Applying modifications and customizations to the OS through registry modifications

Scripting to install application and drivers into the images (VB or other)

Knowledge of file based and sector based imaging.

Developing utilities and processes to optimize images and installation procedures

Develop and document design specification and build processes

Troubleshooting/debugging software and hardware problems related to the operating system or supporting applications, drivers, and services.

Work closely with other developers to ensure design compliance and operating

System compatibility with system and platform specific applications.

Technical Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Graduate in any Discipline

Experience in Handling Windows Imaging Project

Experience in 1E.

Good Command on ImageX or similar tool

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)

• Good documentation skills

• Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio)

• Should have a great customer handling skills

• Able to handle unforeseen situations

• High level of acceptance

• Can drive Client’s value and its methodology

Other Skills / Experience

Experience in Linux/Unix platforms installation & imaging.

Experience in Microsoft’s OEM Pre-installation Kit (OPK) tools

Experience in software development, processes, and methods

QA/Software Testing/Troubleshooting experience.

Knowledge of PXE and DHCP functionality
