About the role
Information Scientist
Work Location: Location: Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen
Open for contract and Permanent.
Important: Please note – there is work from home option but this is not a remote opportunity and we will prefer local candidates only.
The job
As information scientist you will:
• Design and teach LEO Pharma Academy courses about:
• Indexing in the data catalogue
• Searching in the data catalogue
• Counselling to data catalogers in LEO Pharma, regarding indexing and searching.
• Perform 2nd level support across LEO Pharma under audit/inspections
• Execute or design queries to perform all legal holds across LEO Pharma.
• Survey retention and ensure deletion of data/documents
As we do expect to further mature this field further, we foresee that responsibilities for information scientists will grow:
• Enabling the data catalogue browse function build on LEO Pharma process landscape
• Monitor metadata quality of IT-systems ingested into data catalogue
• SEO vs. data catalogue simple search function
• Improve machine learning, crawlers and the search function via metadata
Your qualifications
• 5+ years in an enterprise environment with information science, data modelling, master data management (MDM)
• mature understanding of foundational concepts within information science
• Attention to detail and focus on quality
• Excellent ability to document and communicate effectively about complex technical areas
• Benefit/value mindset
• Experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
