About the role
Overall responsibilities include: • Responsible for accurate reporting from range of source tools and systems on a regular and ad hoc basis. • Performs tasks as service organisation to business (e.g. supporting re-certification, operational tasks of Information Security Incident management process, supporting KPI reporting). • Supports the project teams on the execution of Information Security programs and projects e.g. control assessments for regulators. • Performs accurate Information Security reporting from range of source tools and systems on a regular and ad-hoc basis. Initiates independent reviews to identify, highlight and document risk issues and ensures follow-up. • Advises senior stakeholders on the set-up and execution of Information Security programs and outcomes. • Managers feedback to Information Security related policies/standards and initiates change where needed. • Actively supports achievement of Bank’s/Division’s strategy, plans and values, and ensures they maintain a clear understanding and ongoing alignment of activities with the organisation’s priorities. • Demonstrates personal support to the achievement and maintenance of a high performance culture in which people management and development is a key priority. Demonstrates personal commitment to supporting colleagues within the team. • Demonstrates personal commitment to the Bank’s values. • Adheres to Bank Policies and Procedures and drives compliance within the team. • Takes ownership for own development and career management, seeking opportunities to develop personal capability and improve performance contribution.
Job Requirements
Experience / Exposure: • Good knowledge in at least one or more of the following Information Security processes e.g. Identity and Access management, Information Security Incident and Problem Management, Information Security Governance for business and technology • General experience in business and IT processes and respective Information Security requirements. • Relevant experience with financial markets and institutions. • Good analytical skills to evaluate problem, root cause and inform the development of a solution. • Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams in a matrix organisation. • Ability to work in fast paced environment and keep pace with technical/operational innovation. • Good communication skills, fluent in English (written/verbal) and local language as appropriate. • Experience of working with 3rd party vendors. • Basic experience in Unix variants and Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 operating systems and administration of these • Microsoft Office 2013 Applications and Visual Basic for Application (VBA) programming experience is highly desirable • PowerShell scripting background highly advantageous. • Sound experience with Microsoft Access or SQL languages highly desirable
Education /
Certification • Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) preferred. In addition, any of the following education/certification attainment will be beneficial: • CASP (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner). • CAP (Certified Authorisation Professional). • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) & /or relevant practical experience.
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or equivalent. • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) or equivalent. • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent. • CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control).
