We're currently seeking a Public Cloud Site Reliability Engineer that has experience with the Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms, specifically those capabilities that relate to delivering scalable environments supporting global application adoption from Operational & Security perspectives.

The maturing of foundational cloud capabilities will be owned by this role from the perspectives of full-lifecycle responsibility, implementation, configuration, support & automation. Broader responsibilities will include supporting the technical engagement around specific implementation projects. To be successful in this role an applicant should seek to developing deep expertise in multiple cloud platforms in terms of services & functional capabilities, as well as broad know-how around how applications and services which are constructed using these platforms, where automation & support aspects are fundamental.

Participating in technical implementation or troubleshooting sessions with more experienced members of the team, and also help align existing infrastructure Engineering and AppDev teams with the requirements for ‘best- practice’ cloud adoption.

Your future colleagues

This role will supplement the Central Cloud Enablement function with a presence in APAC, and will be involved in a wide range of activities supporting the adoption of these platforms by CS Application Development teams globally, through helping with technology evaluations, defining & implementing new solutions and extended capabilities based on these, to utilizing automation to stand-up new environments that have these new capabilities integrated.

The Public Cloud SRE Team has currently a footprint in Raleigh and Zurich and is in the process of growing in size. Besides the colleagues in the SRE Team this role will work closely together with other Public Cloud and Infrastructure teams across the globe and will have a strong exposure to our internal customers which are mainly Application Development Teams.
