About the role
Title: Infrastructure Architect
Location: Lyon, France
Responsibilities
-
Collect and understand customer needs
-
Analyze the needs and transform them in technical solutions
-
Design and maintain architectural views, models and target architectures
-
Explain, communicate, support choices
-
Design and review solution architectures
-
Continuous improvement of services (for example thru performance improvement projects)
-
Participate in responses to tenders
-
Compliance with commitments: deadlines, costs and scope.

Competences :
-
Very good knowledge of infrastructure technologies, application domains (functional and SAP type of ERP), data and IT architectures
-
Multi-platform IT culture (.Net / Java / Mainframe)
-
Good knowledge of several of the following technologies: Cloud (public, private, hybrid) such ass Azure, AWS, MS WAP / Stack, Openshift, Servers (Windows, RedHat, Mainframe Z / os, Database (SQL, Client, DB2), Application Server (IIS, WebSphere, JBOSS), Storage, Hardware, Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Rhev)

Good knowledge of Cloud Computing and Business Intelligence / Big Data environments are a plus

Profile

High education in IT , you have a minimum of 10 years' experience including 5 as an architect.

You have one or more experiences in an international context, within Infrastructure and / or IT Operations team.

Fluent in English, you have a good level of communication and natural leadership allowing you to establish trust with teams and customers.
