Deliverables-

Server Infrastructure Build-Up and Automation

The BareMetal Team is responsible for the server hardware of the Converged Cloud and its lifecycle. We have to build it up, keep it up to date and decommission it as it reaches the end of the usage period. The goal is to have as less manual interaction as possible in this process of bringing in new hardware into our OpenStack-based cloud.

This includes working with the latest hardware models of our hardware partners (Lenovo, Dell, HPE, Cisco) and improving our server monitoring.

Skills

• • Deep knowledge of server hardware from at least one of our preferred vendors (Lenovo, Dell, HPE or Cisco).

• • Knowledge of the vendor’s hardware console like HPE Oneview, Lenovo xClarity, etc.

• Beneficial:

• • Experience with OpenStack.

• • Ansible Playbooks

• • Experience with Prometheus

• • Containerization and CI/CD knowledge.
