IT Security Engineer

Job Description

Requirements

• o Skilled in digital infrastructure security engineer(s) that be deployed into regions to support the business factory systems (Windows 7 and upwards attached to OT controllers not connected to the internet).

• o Digital Security, not OT, is the primary focus, the ideal candidate will have experience / awareness of OT interfacing.

• o DS Smith already has OT engineers on-site and is seeking IT engineers to shadow them; if there is a problem with the OT, the two teams collaborate.

• o Security specialists who understand how security infrastructure works but also understand demarcation points on the OT/IT perimeter - someone who understands OT/IT interfacing

• o Infrastructure focused skillset rather than networking

• · Resources needed for 6 months

• · Resources can work remotely (within the country borders) but are required to travel on-site whenever needed (short travel to the site is preferable without requiring a Visa).

• · The primary skill is Infrastructure Security with good network security knowledge.

• · Offshore (from India) is not an option. Resources needed to be local in specified countries (below).

• Locations

• Engineers can be located anywhere in the country within reasonable travel distance - they do not need to be specifically in each of the cities listed.

• Getting to the site in up to 12 hours is acceptable, so if resourcing is an issue, we can have engineers covering 'bordering' countries; however, having engineers in each of the countries is preferred.

• Speaking local language is an advantage, but not 100% essential if they speak English.
