Experience

· Identifying, analysing, and optimizing cloud operations processes in collaboration with the Network, Platform, Database, and Applications teams for automating.

· Designing, documenting, developing, testing, and deploying automation tools using Git, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins in the cloud.

· Writing standard operating procedures and training our operations engineers to use and maintain the automation tools.

· Testing, deploying, and advocating the use of Devops technologies such as Git, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Gradle, Docker, Bitbucket and Jenkins.

· Assisting the manager in addressing complex provisioning, deployment, configuration, and automation projects.

Selection Criteria – Professional skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· 3+ years of experience in developing automation tools using Shell Scripting, Python, or Ruby for a large production environment.

· 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying automation tools using Git, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins.

· 3+ years of experience with AWS VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, ELB, SNS, AMI, IAM, KMS, Route 53, CloudWatch, and Lambda.

· Writing Knowledge Articles and developing standard operating procedures.

· DevOps Automation Skills in an Agile environment – CI, CD Pipeline automation

· Solution Automation: Patching, Hardening, AMI build, Monitoring, Logging, Security controls, day-day Operational processes

· Deep exposure on Tooling: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, JIRA

· Linux Administration

· Software Development Background Java or Python.

· Strong Communication skills

Certifications

Must Have

· AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Cloud Architect

· Red Hat Certified Specialist

Good to Have

· Good experience in Puppet, Cheff, Ansible , Jenkins, Bitbucket

· ITIL Foundation Certification v3.

· Experience in Service Now or any other Operations Tools.

· Web-based application stack understanding using Apache, Tomcat, IIS, and Nginx.
