Scope & Deliverables

The candidate will be a key member of our engineering team, building and making decisions that will drive the future of our platform's experience. The candidate is responsible of

Developing new applications by collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing efficient, testable, and reusable code, and solving complex technical challenges.

Integrating external products and services via APIs to add new functionality to the applications

Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Doing code review and assisting QA in creating continuous integration test plans and system

Researching and experimenting with new emerging technologies to improve existing systems and develop new products and services

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in a fast-paced environment with short project deadlines

• Expert in object oriented programming and have experience with MVC frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel and YII

• Excellent command of HTML / CSS / XML / JavaScript / PHP / MySQL

• Experience with Relational Databases and NoSQL technologies and able to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries

• Experience in working with version control systems such as Git, TFS

• Experience implementing cross browser/device solutions

• Experience working with high-availability, high-performance, scalable enterprise level systems

• Highly developed, process-oriented skills for troubleshooting and problem resolution

• Working experience with Apache, PHP, Laravel, JavaScript are required

• Working experience with API development (Apigee) preferred
