Junior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and deployment of Cloud native applications, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality application. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level candidate looking to start their career in DevOps and has chance to learn on Cloud Platform Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering.

Responsibilities

• • Assist in the collaboration with development teams to deploy and manage applications and platform.

• • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, automating the release process to ensure timely and reliable deployments.

• • Monitor applications and platform to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

• • Assist in Cloud Platform Provisioning and Configuration Management by "Infrastructure as Code”

Requirements

• • High Diploma holder preferably in Computer Science, Cloud Computing related discipline.

• • Knowledgeable in DevOps, SQL and Cloud technologies.

• • Familiar on any following area is an advantage (Not compulsory):

• o Container Platform – eg. Docker, K8S, Openshift, AWS ECS, etc

• o DevSecOps toolkit – eg. Jenkins, Gitlab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, etc

• o IaC – Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, etc

• o Linux/UNIX

• o Scripting skills – Python, Bash, etc

• o Monitoring tools – Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc

• o Database Administration

• o Cloud Infrastructure – AWS, Azure, GCP, etc

• • Good problem solving and communication skills.

• • Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
