About the role
Additional Job Details Ideally working 2 days a week in the office but this can be negotiable for the right candidate.
Shift Hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm
Roles & Responsibilities:
Modelling and drafting of components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.
• Rendering of 3D models for use in documentation, presentations etc.
• Uploading models and drawings to the Schlumberger Document Management
Systems (GEMS/SAP)
• Designing parts as per International Drawing standards (Imperial and Metric)
• Designing parts for Manufacture, for common processes such as moulding, CNC
machining and EB welding.
• Designing test setups and test fixtures and jigs
• Performing basic calculations where required (fluid volume, O-Ring squeeze etc.)
• Performing basic tolerance stack-up analyses
• Providing support to other departments, working alongside Manufacturing, Supply
Chain, and Sales.
Desirable to have experience in the design and development of electromechanical/fibre products.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical principles (e.g. Insulation Resistance)
Qualifications / Experience Required

• Desirable to have experience in the design and development of Subsea products.

• Desirable to have experience working on products for high pressure, high

temperature environments

• Experience working to a hard deadline

• Knowledge of metallic and elastomeric materials.

• Experience of clearance and fits and tolerance analysis

• Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling

• Proficient user of CAD for creation of 3D designs.

• Desirable to have experience in PTC Creo / Windchill modelling environments

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office – i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
