About the role
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
· Experience of Network Operational Support within a large institution or bank
· Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network related issues
· Ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels and to work in pressurised situations
· At least one of the following Solid skils
o Solid working knowledge of DNS / DHCP using Infoblox products
o Solid working knowledge of Bluecoat Proxy related products, including integration with external services
· Good understanding and experience of F5 load-balancing platforms, including integration with external services
· Good working knowledge of TCP, SSL and be able to fault find using tcpdump, Wireshark, log trace and live debug
· General understanding of LAN and WAN technologies / protocols (Cisco ACI, NX-OS, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF)
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications :
· Expert knowledge of Load Balancing platforms - F5 or AVI / VMWare
· Working knowledge of scripting language (Python, Ansible)
· Experience of working within a large multi-site, multi-protocol LAN & WAN
