Job Title Agile Engineer

Brief Scope Supports end to end delivery of projects for credit card system, Lead

Reporting to Crisostomo, Linlyn Gurango

Academic & Professional

Field of Study Computer Science or IT related

Certification B. Science

2.Skills & Attributes

The following skills are required to be successful in performing this position:

Skills & Attributes

• Must have (maximum of 5 bullet points)

• Working experience in Credit/Debit Card Systems.

• Must possess at least 10-year experience in CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, MVS, z/OS and mainframe environment

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in Agile project delivery and DEVOPS tools.

• Ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks/ projects.

• Possess self-initiative and work with minimal supervision.

• Nice to have

• API/SOLACE/JAVA knowledge/skills.

• Automation skills

• Knowledge in Easytrieve, REXX, SAS, ABEND AID, FileAid, Endeavor, Expeditor would be added advantage

• Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders on new requirements.

• Provides technical guidance to junior developers.

• Analysis of user stories and assessment of changes required in the system.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Retrospective)

• Story points estimation and sub-task estimation.

• Design program specifications aligning to COBOL/JCL coding best practices for efficient system performance

• Perform Cobol/CICS program coding and testing

• JIRA/ Confluence updates

• User Acceptance Testing support that includes test environment set-up/configuration, batch execution and responding to business queries and clarifications.

• Supports project deployment activities and post implementation monitoring.

• Supports production issue investigation and resolution whenever need arises.
