About the role
Roles and Responsibilities:
Prepare test cases and SQL queries
Execute tests, run jobs manually, monitor job status, as well as data validation with the use of mapping documents
Track status and log defects until closure in defect management tool
Required Skillset:
Minimum 5+ years of experience with Data testing
Knowledge of data models and entity relationship diagrams
Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and Agile/ scrum process
Good knowledge in Test data management tool.
Good knowledge in Unix/ Linux.
Expertise in any test/ defect management too
Mandatory Requirements:
Ability to determine the types of testing that must be conducted (i.e., data validation, regression, etc.)
Through knowledge of Software test life cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle etc.
Proficiency with Test Case Preparation & Execution.
Should have strong Test Process orientation and familiarity with Test Scenario
Identification and Test Data Preparation Techniques.
Should have exposure to large data sets and understand Data Quality Framework.
Must have the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes while maintaining urgency in completing assigned tasks.
Should be detail oriented with analytical mind set
