Monitoring and Reporting consultancy

Responsibilities

• Gather and understand monitoring and reporting requirements

• (and align with requirements )

• Scientific Network) - needed in order to have a harmonised toolset.

• Assess if current standard monitoring and reporting tools meet current and

• future RCN and RSN requirements. Identify gaps with current standards.

• Define future monitoring and reporting tool landscape taking into account

• Enterprise Architecture Technical Framework including RSN and RCN

• standard tools.

• Explore and identify new network monitoring and reporting tools that fulfil

• RCN/RSN requirements that cannot be fulfilled with existing standard tools.

• Create PoC (Proof of Concept) plan. Execute PoC plan and present PoC

• reports in order to make a decision.

• Create Pilot plan, execute it and present Pilot reports previous to production

• deployment.

• Deploy lab environment, document deployment procedures, test and validate

• selected tools for the RCN/RSN in order to hand over the tools to operational

• teams.

• Design, engineer and standardise new tools for the RCN/RSN if required.

• Deliverables:

1. Monitoring and reporting requirements documented and gaps between

• RSN/RCN requirements identified - End of May 2019.

1. Roadmap definition with future monitoring and reporting tool s for the RCN and

• RSN. End of July 2019.

1. PoC plan for new tools. End of August 2019.

2. PoC reports with the evaluation of new tools for RCN. End of Sep 2019.

3. Pilot plan of new tools for RCN. End of October 2019.

4. Implementation of new tools for RCN. Integration with other standard systems.

• Create required documentation for new standard tools. End of December

1. Give a recommendation about the operational support model for monitoring
