About the role
Job Description:
6 to 8 years of experience required
Expertise in Installation, configuration, maintenance, administration of IBM WebSphere MQ, which includes creating and configuring IBM MQ Objects like Queue Managers, Remote Queues, Local Queues and Queue Aliases.
Expertise in IBM IIB administration
Experience with working and configuring on clustered MQ set up
Experience in Implementing security in MQ, debugging MQ connectivity issues, MQ authentication/Authorization
Ensuring MQ solution meets the latest requirements of MQ Security
Problem Determination and troubleshooting on MQ, IIB using MQ Error Files, FDC files, syslog, traces, and monitoring tools
Proficient in IBM MQ AMS and IBM MQIPT
Implementation of Incident, Change and Problem management Processes of ITIL.
Collaborating and engaging with the MQ L3 resources, solution architect and engineer for strategizing the MQ solution
Applied and embracing the scrum framework with Agile methodology
Require to play pivotal role of the technical change lifecycle for MQ, commencing with Detailed Design, Build & Config, Testing Support, Implementation, Handover, Warranty Support and lastly decommission
Active in providing inputs to support team on need basis to troubleshoot production incidents
Coordinating and collaborating with Application Team to assist with their MQ Setup
