MS -BI Developer

Role: MS -BI Developer

Location: London

Duration: 6+ months

Working Mode: Hybrid (2 Days Onsite in a week)

Key Skills/Knowledge:

Essential

Expert level SQL Server knowledge

Experience using SSIS to load data

Complex TSQL Stored Procedures

Hands on SSRS, SSAS & Power BI experience

Experience of handling large data volumes – partitioning, column store

Data Warehouse Design, Kimball Methodologies

Preferred

Experience of working with Risk systems within a financial institution

Experience of using Control-M or similar orchestration tools

Any exposure to Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse, Python, ADF

Key Responsibility:

Staging additional data from upstream systems into the SQL Server Staging DB

Writing Stored Procedures to publish the data into the Risk Data Warehouse

Loading the data into Power BI Data Models · Enhancing SSRS reports to include the additional data

Writing Control-M jobs to orchestrate the batch processes · Documenting changes made in the required format

Testing and releasing changes

Diagnosing issues and applying technical changes to remediate
