About the role
Handled large database estates and managed TB size of databases · Install, configure and administer the SQL Server enterprise of 2012, 2008 R2, 2008 and 2005 on Windows server · Install and configure database monitoring tools · Database refresh (Prod to Dev, QA) · Database auditing and compliance · Plan the instance upgrade, migration and patching · Define backup and restore strategy · Proactively analysis the performance and tuning recommendation · Implement and troubleshoot DTS packages · Experience in application DBA support and deployment activities · Design, setup and configure load balancing on clusters · SQL EM Metric design and configuration · Develop database re-usable components · Database disaster recovery (DR) strategy like mirroring / log shipping / replication configuration · Develop data purging, archival management methods and best practices · OS level activities related to database tasks and windows administration · Coordinate and work with vendors for bug fixes and major incident resolution · Primarily role is supporting the production and non-prod database environments · Provide 24x7 and on call support for critical application databases Job type: Contract Division: eTeam Workforce Limited Reference: 22-03352
