About the role
Roles and Responsibilities:
-
Oversee and perform QA for rack, stack and installation of networking equipment.
-
Commission and test routers, switches and other network devices in new and existing network nodes across global network.

Co-ordinate with network carrier for circuit activation/deactivation
-
Own network documentation, updating and maintaining network drawings and plans.
-
Provide technical expertise and guidance during testing and deployment
-
Troubleshoot and fix the various network issue during implementation.
-
Co-ordinate with multiple support team during migration planning.
-
Working on Network Change Management with detailed planning to avoid any impact.
-
Proactively identify gaps, risks, and issues of LinkedIn Network across the globe
-
Develop tools using python/Ansible to improve the build times for office/POPs.
Preferred Qualifications
-
7+ years of Experience in implementation, administration and troubleshooting with Multivendor like Cisco, Juniper, A10, Cisco ASA, PaloAlto
-
Experience with custom and common infrastructure management tools.
-
7+ years of experience working with the Network protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, ISIS, STP/PVST.
-
7+ years of experience working with general LAN technologies
-
4+ years of experience and knowledge of IPv6.
-
7+ years hands-on troubleshooting network devices, routing issues, Backbone issues in a real-time environment.
-
3+ Experience in infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, REST/gRPC, NETCONF,python etc.

Experience in Azure Cloud
