About the role
As a Network Administrator at our company, you will be responsible for hands-on Cisco Routing and Switching, including Cisco ACI. Your general duties will include: - Setting up and decommissioning VLANs - Troubleshooting end-user network related issues - Coordinating with ISPs and TSPs for raising tickets and driving resolutions - Coordinating with OEMs for raising TAC cases and follow-up - Configuring and using network monitoring tools - Configuring Cisco (Nexus) 5k and 7k Series Switches - Utilizing ticketing tools such as Service Now - Demonstrating a good understanding of ITIL Incident and Change Management Processes - Documenting processes and SOPs In terms of technical skills, we are looking for candidates who possess: - Minimum 8 years of experience as part of a network support team, managing a medium to large size enterprise network - CCNA certification at least, with CCNP considered favorably - Good understanding and hands-on experience with layer 2 devices, Vlan trunking, STP, and Nexus Switches (2k, 5k, 7k, and 9k) - Familiarity with technologies like fabric path, vPC, and vDC - Strong knowledge of Routing and Switching technologies - Excellent spoken and written English skills to effectively communicate with customers This role offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of networking technologies and be a key player in maintaining the stability and efficiency of our network infrastructure.
