About the role
Network Security :
5-10 years of exposure on IT security.
To carry out technical vulnerability assessments of IT systems and processes, identifying potential vulnerabilities, to make recommendations to control any risks identified and to ensure they are implemented.
Work with IT operations to set up a shared disaster recovery/business continuity plan.
Administer, configure, update, maintain and manage security devices: Firewall, Proxy, Email Gateway, Monitoring tools, NAC and Load Balancer
Perform testing / deployment / troubleshooting activity
Ensure compliance to operation availability and stability SLA
Perform resolution to security related incidences
Monitor and manage security alerts
Provide IT Security design and solution for new project implementation
Liaison with internal/external stakeholders for requirement gathering/process improvement/change requirement
Perform documentation of all relevant assets and setup information
Job requirements
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
At least 7 years' experience in IT Security with specific involvement in implementation and management of:
Firewall, Proxy, Email Gateway, Monitoring tools, NAC and Load Balance
Product knowledge of Fortinet, Juniper, Checkpoint , F5 & Bluecoat
Strong knowledge in TCP/IP networking with good understanding of routing and switching technology
Must be familiar with Linux Shell
Possession of professional certification is a must
Strong problem solving and analytical skills and ability to work together in a team environment
Ability to see a task through from assignment to completion with minimal supervision
Experience in a banking environment is an added advantage
Willing to work off-hours for project implementation, break-fix and other standby requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Willingness to learn and share knowledge and skills
