Key Areas

Expert in firewalls (Checkpoint, Fortinet), load balancer (F5 and cisco) and proxy servers.

• Technical expert in large enterprise network and networking (LAN and WAN in financial/Banking domain) projects, expert in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), Layer2/3 switching, TCP/IP framing/addressing and expert/excellent hands on experience in network trouble shooting, configuration, implementation and building new large network (LAN/WAN).

• Familiar with Arista and Cisco Nexus.

Certifications:- Checkpoint certified, CCSE Certified, CCIE and other network/security certifications.

Network Security Level 3 Engineer Technical JD

• Ten plus (10+) years industry experience in networking environment with an emphasis on Network Security;

•Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience with any OS

•Basic networking technology skills along with a good understanding of cross platform technologies;

•Certified security engineer (typically CCSE or comparable);

•Certified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCNP or comparable);

•Good technical ability to implement Firewall change requests and any potential related L2/L3 router changes;

•Good technical ability to create and install Checkpoint objects for initial firewall policy;

•Good technical ability to build and configure Firewall devices (Checkpoint, Fortinet);

•Good technical ability to build and configure Proxies and IDS;

•Strong technical ability to provide troubleshooting in security environment and fault escalation; •Strong technical ability to provide troubleshooting for connectivity issue;

•Full understanding and operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols like spanning tree protocols;

•Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP including NAT;

•Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of IOS/operating systems and CatOS;

•Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of trunking protocols –VTP, 8021.Q etc.;

•Full understanding of firewalls & different deployment architecture;

•Good understanding of ITIL and service management principals;

•Good ability to follow and documented deployment processes;

•Strong experience with change request management systems;

•Strong experience with network monitoring / management tools/ analysis tools;

•Strong experience with liaising with carriers and vendors for installations

•Excellent analytical skills to evaluate problem;

•Good communication skills, fluent in local language and English (written/verbal)
