Maintenance of Client database

Creating storage database structures with high-level security features.

Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company.

Execution of data migration jobs and scripts as required.

Assist the infrastructure team in sizing hardware used for the DB.

Support and collaborate with product developers.

Performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy and integrity. Identification of bottle necks and deadlock issues.

Debugging & SQL Tuning to improve performance &/or rewrite poorly performing SQL

Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity.

Creating autonomous database backups.

Regularly updating the database security protocols

Knowledge of Client database wait events, Database and Application parameters

Client Database Administrator Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree

7 to 15 years of Experience

Proven work experience as a Client Database administrator.

Familiarity with Client database design, coding, and documentation.

Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.

Operating system experience in Linux

Good problem solver, focused and dedicated developer with ability to work on your own as well as with a team.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
