JOB description:

Expertise and experience in Configuring OGG with OGI bundled Agents (XAG) with ACFS

Strong knowledge and experience in OGG with HA and XAG in RAC with DG setups, Micro services (MA), Veridata

Sound knowledge and experience in Migrating database using OGG in HA environments, bi-directional replications

8+ years of Client DBA experience with demonstrated experience in Real Application Clusters (RAC), DG, HA and Goldengate Technologies

SME level expertize recommended in 12.1/12.2/18c RAC clusters with CDB/PDB.

Experience with multitenant (12c CDB/PDB) and Goldengate replication setups.

Experience with handling migrations towards cloud/hybrid cloud platforms using Goldengate and near zero downtime approaches along with rollback strategy using goldengate

Solid understanding with experiences implementing different facets of MAA such as RAC, ADG, OGG, seamless failovers, HA cloud deployments and Multitenant MAA

Work experience in Integration areas (like SOA/OSB/ODI) is a plus to this profile.

Analyse technical and functional requirements and translate them into right solutions. Understand dependencies toward other systems and teams.

Develop, prepare, install and operating procedures for smooth functioning of HA solutions with Goldengate

Develop best practices and operational manuals in lifecycle management areas including patching.

Troubleshooting and performance tuning Goldengate replications

Configure monitoring and integration towards remedy ticking systems for customized metrics

Automation, scripting knowledge (Shell, Perl, Python) is added advantage
