Job Description/ Responsibilities

As a Stratus Software Engineer, you will develop, test & maintain a mission-critical enterprise applications that meet the needs of the business. You will provide very high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing break-fix solutions and enhancements for applications within new and mature technology environments.

Required Skills:

•Experience level is 08-10 years in relevant technical skillsets mentioned

•Excellent product knowledge of merchant Payment domain

•Strong knowledge of Stratus platform for 6-7 years.

•Strong technical skills in Stratus, VOS

•Expert Proficiency in C/C++ Programming Language.

•Expertise Linux/Unix internals, multi-threading, sockets, IPCs

•Knowledge of Design Patterns

•Knowledge of Stratus Platform

•Knowledge in SQL/Oracle/NoSQL Db or any other DBMS preferable.

•Knowledge in payment domain is added advantage

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Good analytical and problem-solving skill and right attitude to collaborate with the onshore and offshore team.

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent domain knowledge of Merchant acquirer business, understanding of payment messages

• Ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.

• Solid interpersonal, collaboration and negotiating skills to work with users, senior management, and external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines.

• Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using technology
