From Loadrunner Tools perspective
In Depth knowledge of LR Tool
Excellent Scripting skills
Should know about adding verification points in the script
Must have handled complex correlation scenarios and regular expressions
Excellent knowledge of designing prod like scenarios which involves load being simulated form different channels
From Performance Testing Perspective , Candidate should have the capability for
Analyzing business scenarios and understanding the non-functional requirements
Evaluating the objectives of the service level agreement and design Technical Acceptance Criteria
Designing the test scripts and Identifying parameter for testing
Establishing Checkpoints
Designing workload models
Executing performance tests
Using consistent metrics for monitoring
Identifying bottlenecks, and where they occur
Interpret results and graphs.
Understand describe the relationship between queues and sub-systems
Identify suggestions for performance tuning
Preparing the test report that actually helps stake holders to take informed decisions.
Excellent communication skills
What is expected from the candidate :
Candidate will be Responsible for developing and executing formal PERFORMANCE test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation, PERFORMANCE test execution and analysis of PERFORMANCE test results.
Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the needs of the business.
Documents all problems and assists in their resolution .
Candidate should be able to work with minimal supervisor’s intervention.
