As an experienced Power BI implementation team member, you will be expected to manage the one Enterprise Data Warehouse projects.
Your responsibilities will also include gathering system and user requirements, implementing and testing features before release. You must have hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and developing Projects using Power BI on any of the cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services. To be successful in this role you will:
Have experience of working on implementing Power BI Gateway and good understanding of DWH concepts.
Working experience in configuring and implementing Power BI gateway between the cloud and your on-premises data sources.
Experience handling issues with the datasets published to the Power BI service
Good knowledge on AWS services like EC2, S3, etc.
Experience working with Windows Servers, clustering and troubleshooting
Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle
Good to have knowledge on DevOPS tools like Github, BitBucket and processes.
Understand the current application infrastructure, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions.
Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
Set up a monitoring stack and define thresholds, performance metrics.
Understand and define service capacity planning strategies.
Work on creating knowledgebase and relevant documentation for reuse and reference.
To help us level up, you'll ideally have:
5-8+ years’ experience having implementation experience, technically sound in Power BI implementation, integration with onprem and cloud, configuring multiple data sets.
Enthusiasm for understanding and learning a wide range of technologies
Familiar with Windows administration, configuration, troubleshooting
Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems.
Experience / Exposure working in Agile environment
Willingness to learn new technologies and domain areas.
