MANDATORY requirements to be discussed with the candidate prior to presentation:

LOCATION: Working remote is possible (Please comment if time difference > 2 hour)

DURATION: 12 Months

START: ASAP (please comment if candidate is not available immediately)

Your tasks:

Develop performance battery and powertrain models and perform thermal/electrical simulation activities.

Maintenance and development of 0D/1D powertrain models to support a variety of use cases and requirements.

Responsible to conduct the validation plans on powertrain model on in flight test aircraft and fleet aircraft.

Developing and coordinating test plans to ensure the powertrain model is fully validated by the time the certification is required.

Development of standard MATLAB/Simulink process and development of automation tools.

Perform data processing and analysis, with reporting to internal and customer teams and management.

Maintaining strong working relationships with the hardware development and calibration teams

Additional requirements:

Your profile:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related field, or a combination of education and experience .

Min. 2-3 years of experience in (performance) powertrain modelling and programming skills.

Experience of BEV powertrain development is required.

Working knowledge of software including MATLAB and Simulink. Experience with Python is highly appreciated.

Advanced understanding of Battery Systems and Client is highly appreciated.

Independent working attitude and enthusiastic problem solver.

Hands-on experience working with vehicle LV and HV systems is nice to have.

Prior battery component design experience, such as busbars, connectors, etc is nice to have.

Fluent English language skills are essential.

Knowledge

very good knowledge in Matlab/Simulink
