Position: Practice Subject Matter Expert – Hybrid Cloud Network Technologies
Education: B.E. / B. Tech.
Job Description : Looking for a hands-on Network Architect who is a geek at heart and is seeking to learn more about and implement cutting edge Network technology platforms
The individual will have designed, implemented, rolled out and troubleshoot networks across DC LAN, and public clouds . Should be a “guru” in understanding Network technologies should preferably have exposure to some of these platforms as well. The role will require expertise in networking portfolio of GCP / AWS / Azure ( or similar platforms) and also entails driving niche implementations in cutting edge Network Technologies in SDN and SDWAN platforms.
The role will implement niche technologies for our customers in the Networks (Data) domain and will require troubleshooting along with partner BU and TAC teams to ensure these implementations meet the business objectives within the timelines committed.
The candidate should preferably have 10 years or more of experience in Network technologies with preferably a CCIE (Routing switching Or Data Center) Or networking certifications in GCP / AWS .
SkillSets Required
Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
Excellent Understanding of Cloud Underlay Infrastructure
Hub and Spoke Architecture in Cloud
Cloud Native and Third Party Network Transit Solution (Transit Gateway , vWAN , Aviatrix)
Integration of SDN Technologies with Cloud (Prisma, Meraki, Viptella, etc)
Private Cloud Integration with Native Cloud (AVS, GCVE, VMWare on AWS)
Application Delivery Appliances Native and Third Party (F5, Citrix Client, NLB)
Conceptual Knowledge of Network Constructs in Native and its relevance
Knowledge of Native Automation Platform (ARM, GDM, Lamda)
High Availability protocols and Global Server Load Balancing technologies
New Generation Firewalls, Stateful firewalls, SSL
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS) in both physical and virtual environments.
Ability to provide the network connectivity from on prem to the cloud.
Configure firewall rules, IPS, routing, and VPNs. Test and monitor connectivity and network performance in major CSP environment and external connections (both physical and VPN). Troubleshoot network issues.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configuration
Ability to support the integration of the APIC from ACI into the Azure space
Prior experience with Cisco ACI product related to deployments and operations is preferred.
Experienced with the use of ACI in the AWS/ GCP / Azure cloud space
Knowledge and ability to perform advanced administration on multiple company standard network technologies or similar platforms such as Cisco enterprise LAN/WAN gear, F5 load balancing, and Checkpoint/Palo Alto security platforms.
Knowledge of established configuration management, network architecture development, and project methodologies
Quickly adapts to the demands inherent in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge & Experience
Should preferably have 10 years of hands on experience in Network technologies.
4+ Proven engineering skills in building secure public cloud connectivity solutions.
Experienced with configuring a site-to-site VPN architecture
Experience in designing and operating multi-cloud architecture (MCA)
Experienced working with core internet routing protocols
Working knowledge on designing and building a cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Hands-on experience with multi-cloud infrastructure, including VPC/VNet and network structure, IAM-based roles/policies, security groups, logging and auditing, as well as high-level familiarity with a broad range of Cloud services.
Strong working knowledge of web application integrations (multi-tier web application architecture, common protocols like TLS/HTTPS) and related AWS services
Solid, proven ability to administer recent versions of Cisco switching and routing, DNS, SSL, SSH, TCP/IP, IPSec VPNs, and other network services.
Expert level knowledge & expert level troubleshooting experience in networking technologies:
Dynamic IP routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP BGP, VRFs)
QOS, STP, HSRP, VPC, Etherchannel, IPSec, Multicast
All routing, switching & firewall gear in the Cisco Enterprise portfolio including Catalyst, Nexus, ASA, ASR and ISR platforms
Load balancing & iRules in F5 LTM
Ability to analyze traffic patterns and pro-actively identify anomalies
Advanced experienced in the use of Network management and Monitoring tools for troubleshooting, capacity planning, performance management and lifecycle reporting.
Experience with implementing and configuring SSL decryption
Experience configuring Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW) such as Palo Alto’s
Experience : Atleast 10 years in Networks (Data) Domain
