Location: Kraków, with remote flexibility

Rate : 1200 PLN/day

The Opportunity:

We are looking for Technical Lead with strong hands-on experience in Python to create various capabilities and solutions. The candidate will be expected to coordinate and embed technical standards, increase the maturity of the team, drive best practices, and ensure quality reliable, robust solutions.

The candidate will get involved in expanding out our platform within the Markets & Security Services MI CFO space developing a user front end and microservices to deliver forecasting models and calculators on the Kubernetes platform.

What you’ll do

• • Identify the opportunity for automation and design/build the end-to-end solutions.

• • Collaborate with our business stakeholders and Finance Change SMEs to understand and gather requirements to develop the appropriate solutions whilst keeping to budget and agreed timelines

• • Coordinate and embed technical standards to ensure the right processes are followed and quality of code is delivered to the right standard.

• What you will need to succeed in the role:

• • At least 3-5 years of software development experience, with Python being your main language.

• • Solid experience in Python (3.x), with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django, Flask, etc.

• • Experience of react/angular for front end development. React would be preferred.

• • Experience of DevOps principles & tools like GitHub/Jenkins, Jira, Confluence

• • Experience in building CI:CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins

• • Have knowledge of Cloud based infrastructure like Kubernetes.

• What additional skills will be good to have?

• • Knowledge of Microservices based architecture and patterns.

• • Knowledge of cloud concepts and cloud architecture, different types of cloud computing like Kubernetes

• • Experience of streaming data pipeline using DASK, PySpark, Apache Beam frameworks.
