QA analyst /E-Trading

Job Duties

The role is to assist in the front to back testing of E Trading application development and enhancement.

The role will require working with the business users, development, analysts and support teams to assist

in the delivery of enhancements. Initially the day to day responsibilities will include maintaining the QA

environment, raising the change management requests and working for QA tools and automation. Once

the resource is comfortable with domain their day to day responsibilities will expand into defining and

writing test scripts, test plans and playing a vital part in requirements, planning and estimating meetings,

carrying out functional and regression testing and building and maintaining relationships with clients both

internal and external to team.

Qualification: Software engineering; additional qualification in Finance is desirable, FRM, CFA desirable

Skills Required

• MUST HAVE

•  knowledge of Capital Markets especially FX

•  experience/knowledge of BDD testing approach and tools like "SpecFlow”

•  have hands-on experience in defining overall testing approach and define the test plans

• • Enthusiastic strong-minded person able to work closely with the development team and help

• instill a testing culture.

• • Strong team, communication and planning/organizing skills.

• • Experience of setting up test frameworks for new projects.

• • Experience of the development of repeatable test suites for testing F2B processes.

• • Practical experience of QA testing within investment banking.

• • Experience with UNIX, PERL and shell scripting.

• • Detailed knowledge of the FIX protocol, exchange connectivity , Client STP, DMA

• • Proven experience of automated testing.
