About the role
Main goal for Quality Assurance Specialist IT position is to secure good data quality delivery in accordance to stakeholders’ requirements for our Java based applications.
The candidate must has passion for improvement.
In addition, work according to the Volvo values: customer success, trust, passion, change to stay ahead and performance.
Candidate will be involved both in maintenance and project activities.Requirements·
Solid understanding of software quality assurance life cycle· Experience in planning, designing and executing manual and automated tests·
Secure good development quality in accordance to stakeholders’ expectations·
Monitor and Report data quality frequently and follow up on issues to ensure the quality of deliveries· Continuously work to improve existing ways of working· Very good English

Good knowledge of Databases and SQ

(1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions

(2.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity

(3.) TO ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or review.

(4.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
