• 5+ years of professional experience working as a back end engineer

• A strong problem solver that wants to design large-scale fault tolerant systems

• Someone who works well with smart people and contribute to making the team better.

• A talented engineer that can participate in code reviews to make our engineering team stronger

• Solid algorithms and data structures background

• Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar MVC is a plus

• Working knowledge of Relational Databases such as MySQL or Postgres

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Excellent knowledge of Ruby

• Proven experience building highly scalable RESTful APIs

• Good knowledge of object oriented design and patterns

• Expertise in relational databases and database architecture

• Experience developing distributed systems
