SDWAN Network Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct all aspects of capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning of specific infrastructure components, implement new releases as required and investigate and install new releases and patches to ensure the stability and availability of technology infrastructure services to the business

Provide specialised, escalated support and technical assistance and assist with the monitoring of issue resolution to ensure issues are resolved within a timely manner.

Assist in the design of backup and recovery procedures and plan and undertake effective Disaster Recovery and testing procedures to ensure effective Disaster Recovery plans are developed, documented, tested and implemented.

Undertake problem determination and root cause analysis as directed to ensure permanent corrective actions are implemented appropriately.

Plan, review and critique proposed changes and implement where applicable to ensure successful implementation of infrastructure changes.

Skills /Competencies

• Essential: 8-10 Years Experience

• Must have SD WAN experience

• Implementation experience in SD WAN

• Extensive Experience in working in Datacentre technologies

• Hand-on Experience on Datacentre Network and DCNM tool and EVPN understanding.

• Extensive Experience on Routing, Switching, Infoblox, DNS, Gigamon

• Experience in network operations

• Preferred

• Experience in working in Datacentre technologies

• Hand-on Experience on Datacentre Network and DCNM tool and EVPN understanding.

• Hands on experience in Routing, Switching, Infoblox, DNS, Gigamon

• SD WAN understanding

• Sound Networking skills in Cisco

• Can do Network Design documentation

• Strong Implementation/Build capability
