Job Title Security Architect
location: Watford UK

In this role you will help to securely design, deploy, and maintain cloud services, infrastructure, and applications to keep enterprise data safe. Your responsibilities will be to:
Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues;
Architect, deploy & maintain SAAS, IAAS, and PAAS cloud solutions
Ensure solutions are maintained for high availability, scalability, security, and supportability
Design and architect security frameworks, automation and orchestration to secure cloud & On-premises infrastructure and applications
Ensure all risks and security threats in the environment are properly identified, documented, and propose mitigation options
Review current system security measures and recommend & implement enhancements
Provide security guidance and oversight to service and operational teams by participating in design reviews and threat modeling
Evaluate security technologies for cloud environments
Maintain understanding of security capabilities of strategic IS products and new technologies
Understand current and emerging security threats
Basic Qualifications:
B. Tech or equivalent technical degree
12+ years of security architect, security solution's deployments on cloud and/or datacenter environment, security solutions management experience
Deep knowledge and understanding of ISO 27001/27002, OWASP, ITIL and COBIT frameworks
Desired Skills and Technologies:
CISSP, CISM, or CEH certified
MCSA / MCSE: Cloud platform and Infrastructure certified
CSSA, SABSA or TOGAF certified
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges, solutions, and the value proposition of Cloud-based architectures to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Good understanding of leading public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Good understanding of access control, Certificate and Key Management System
Good understanding of Network controls like Proxies, Reverse Proxies, load balancers, Firewalls, micro-segmentation
Good understanding of end point protection security solutions like Anti malware, disk encryption, data loss prevention
Good understanding of log management and monitoring tools, including cloud native tools
