About the role

Contract type: B2B/UoP
Pay rate: B2B: 230 PLN net+VAT per hour / UoP: 24k PLN gross per month
Client: A global renewable energy company specializing in offshore wind, solar, and sustainable energy solutions, focused on driving the transition to a world powered entirely by green energy.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Data Warehouse Infrastructure Implementation:
Support the team in building infrastructure for Data Warehouse solutions for a growing internal client base.
Optimize the existing setup, including enhancing current design and delivery of automation.
Ensure the Redshift DWH is secure, scalable, and well-documented.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Use Terraform to automate and manage AWS infrastructure.
Ensure solutions are robust, maintainable, and efficiently deployed.
Mentorship & Team Development:
Act as a technical mentor.
Share best practices on data architecture.
Provide pair-programming sessions.
Support teams as they grow their AWS skillset.
Requirements

Deep hands-on expertise with AWS and Terraform for IaC across multi-account AWS Organizations, including CI/CD.

Proven experience building and optimizing AWS Data Warehouse infrastructure (with strong Redshift focus: security, performance, data loading, optimization).

Ability to establish best practices in cost optimization, observability, and performance for data workloads.

Must-have
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure.

Proficiency with Terraform, AWS Cloud, multi-account AWS Organizations, and CI/CD.

Experience implementing AWS solutions-related infrastructure and onboarding new customers to the landscape.

Ability to guide and implement best practices in cost optimization, observability setup, and performance.

Excellent communication and mentoring skills; ability to explain technical matters to business stakeholders.

Fluent English and familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-have

Experience with migration projects.

Expertise with:

AWS Redshift (security, performance, data loading, optimization).

AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue).

Familiarity with tools: GitHub, GitHub Actions, jfrog, Python.

Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS + Azure).
