Senior Devops Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and build a flexible logging infrastructure that is structured, searchable and efficient.

• Build a monitoring and alerting service to verify the health of every component of the application and repair it when needed.

• Building tools to deal with disaster recovery situations

• Monitor the health of the message brokers

• Architect and implement software libraries in a multi-cloud environment

• Develop software engineering processes (design, build, quality, maintenance)

• Build and maintain automated testing scripts

• Implement effective CI/CD pipelines

• Fix errors in collaboration with the team when they occur

Qualifications

• Good understanding of asynchronous, message driven, microservices architectures.

• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals like algorithms and data structures. Knowledge of Python 3.

• Experience debugging complex code bases.

• Experience with a distributed streaming platform like Apache Kafka / Google Pub/Sub.

• Experience with containerized applications and their lifecycle. Knowledge of containerization technology (Docker), container orchestration (Kubernetes) and other related cloud native tools.
