Job Title: Senior Drupal Developer

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Remote)

Duration: Long-term contract

What will you be bringing to the team?:

Assist in the analysis of business processes and user requirements

Implement and configure Drupal websites, themes, and modules

Collaborate with the development team to create effective and efficient solutions

Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Drupal websites

Maintain and update technical documentation

Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in Drupal development

What do you need to succeed in this position?:

Hold at least a Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Have at least 9 years of professional experience in IT

Have a minimum 4 years of experience with Drupal 9 and 10 development

Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and relative JS frameworks

Understanding of relational databases and SQL syntax

Experience with Symphony is considered an advantage

Hans-on experience with Web services programming (REST API) an advantage

Proficiency of Drupal module development is an advantage

Knowledge of multilingual Drupal sites is considered an an advantage

Past experience with development for high load Drupal sites (Varnish, Redis, SOLR) is an advantage

Competence in MySQL knowledge and SQL optimization is an advantage

Knowledge of problem diagnosis and solving in Drupal is an advantage

Understanding Drupal performance improvements is an advantage

Experience with Drupal site building is an advantage

Graphic and Drupal template design

Practical experience with SEO is an advantage

Experience with working in Agile team is an advantage

Experience with the use of ticketing (Jira or similar) is an advantage

Drupal community involvement is an advantage
