About the role
▪ HW product expert for clients / peripherals / Client-based servers / multi-functional devices - Dell, Client, IBM, Cisco, various smartphones and deskphones
▪ Certified knowledge of operating systems in server area
▪ Basic knowledge of standard applications / middleware Network administrators only
▪ HW product expert for network access components
▪ Certified knowledge of Network monitoring and operating systems
▪ Basic knowledge of security systems and configurations
▪ Adaptation of known interfaces and their drivers, and organising application-appropriate interfaces of operating systems
▪ Initial operation, conversion, and removal of servers
▪ Planning of basic roll-outs
▪ Configuration of smaller networks
▪ Ability to organise and control teams independently
▪ Server / Network Administrator Only : Administration of servers, storage systems and networks (backup, recovery, databases, networks)
▪ Installation and configuration of Audio / Visual equipment including room design and setup
