Senior Lead Technical Specialist

Purpose of the Job:

Gather current & new business requirements in order to migrate smoothly to new OMS hosted platform and manage prioritization/expectation with all different stakeholders.

Ensure to always keep in mind regulatory and compliance at all time during any requirements, any open Risk Items or Audit points.

Build strategic enhancements to our 3rd party distribution offering, FIX platform, Execution platforms, Order Management systems & Exchange connectivity.

Pre and post sales analysis, design, implementation and on-going support

Roles and Responsibilities

Business

Management & delivery of Futures business projects, mainly focused around FIX, Execution platforms, Order Management systems, Exchange connectivity.

Providing technical advice to the business, pre and post sales.

Build solid working relationships with business, clients, traders and external vendors.

Team

Liaise closely with other team members (globally) to achieve business outcomes

Be flexible & prepared to work in a changing environment, as business needs dictate.

2nd level support of the Front Office electronic trading application specifically in relation to client solutions and manage issues until resolution.

Assist in the development of existing processes and create new processes as required.

Vendors/3rd party brokers

Liaise with and manage vendors/3d party brokers technically to ensure deliveries are on time and on budget

Qualification and Experience Required

Essential Candidate Requirements

Must have strong Project Management and Business Analyst skill

Must have strong Futures eTrading systems and exchange connectivity experience

FIX Protocol – client certification, normalisation – hands-on experience

Java Scripting Development / Oracle SQL / DB – hands-on experience

Ideal Candidate Requirements

Key aspect to this role is an excellent communication with different stakeholders

Must be able to manage and prioritize diverse requirements own by different stakeholders globally.

Vendor system knowledge – Itiviti ULLINK, FIS Valdi

Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, BitBucket, Ansible, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus or equivalent
