Voornaamste focus:

Technisch Applicatie Beheer voor 1 van belangrijkste Missie Kritische Systemen van RWS t.b.v. verwachtingsberekening van de waterhoogte in Nederland;

Werken aan de migratie naar een hybrid-cloud oplossing t.b.v. bovenstaande applicatie;

Inrichten en beheren van CI/CD pipelines;

Uitdragen van DEVOPS werkwijze met CI/CD pipelines binnen het team.

Bouwen, configureren en onderhouden van containers;

Ondersteunen ontwikkelaar bij het maken van container oplevering;

Inrichten van datastromen, toepassen van functionele configuratie en zorg dragen van juist functioneren van de waterverwachtingssystemen.

Opleiding

HBO niveau (pre);

Red Hat Certified Engineer (knock-out);

Red Hat Certified Specialist in Openshift Administration of Certified Kubernetes Administrator (pre);

Gevraagde Werkervaring

­­Ruime werkervaring in IT in een zakelijke werkomgeving (minimaal 5 jaar);

Linux (Red Hat Enterprise) werkervaring. (minimaal 5 jaar) (knock-out);

Ervaring met bouwen van en werken met containers (minimaal 2 jaar en een omgeving ingericht) (knock-out);

Ruime ervaring met Linux en web-beveiligingsmethodieken (minimaal 3 jaar);

Kennis van en ervaring met minstens drie van onderstaande: (minimaal 1 jaar) (pre)

Netwerk kennis (DNS, firewalling, TCP/IP)

Databases (oa MySQL, Postgress)

Configuratie van monitoring-tools & dasboards (Zabbix, Graphana)

Version control systemen (bv GIT)

Webservices (Apache, JBoss)

Beheerst shell scripting (in staat om diverse scripttalen als Perl en Python te volgen) (pre)

Function name:

Senior Linux Technical Application Management Water Management Services

Tasks/activities:

• Daily operational management of the applications including:

o Monitoring

o Performance management

o Execute Changes

o Run Tests

o Problem management

o Make improvement proposals

o Document

Main focus:

• Technical Application Management for 1 of the most important Mission Critical Systems of RWS for the forecast calculation of the water level in the Netherlands;

• Working on the migration to a hybrid cloud solution for the above application;

• Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines;

• Promoting DEVOPS working methods with CI/CD pipelines within the team.

• Building, configuring and maintaining containers;

• Support developer in making container delivery;

• Setting up data flows, applying functional configuration and ensuring correct functioning of the water forecasting systems.

Education

• HBO level (pre);

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (knockout);

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Openshift Administration or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (pre);

Requested Work Experience

• ¬¬Extensive work experience in IT in a business environment (minimum 5 years);

• Linux (Red Hat Enterprise) work experience. (minimum 5 years) (knockout);

• Experience with building and working with containers (minimum 2 years and an environment set up) (knock-out);

• Extensive experience with Linux and web security methods (minimum 3 years);

• Knowledge of and experience with at least three of the following: (minimum 1 year) (pre)

o Network knowledge (DNS, firewalling, TCP/IP)

o Databases (including MySQL, Postgress)

o Configuration of monitoring tools & dashboards (Zabbix, Graphana)

o Version control systems (eg GIT)

o Web services (Apache, JBoss)

• Masters shell scripting (able to follow various scripting languages ​​ such as Perl and Python) (pre)
