Senior PEGA Developer

Role: PEGA Developer Location: Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil, Malaysia

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver successful large-scale development work in Pega and provide added value to enhance and improvement as required. Possess in depth understanding of Pega system, which includes knowledge of applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products and frameworks. Able to define, capture and document functional/non-functional requirements, prepare estimates and define development effort. Provide technical solution to operation support/project team(s) to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues.

Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of strong experience in software industry Must have hands on experience in Pega

• Able to implement Workflows in Pega

• Experienced in Pega personalization Able to guide a team and provide solution to business users Strong problem solving skills Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)

• Fluent in English (written and verbal)

• Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience required in Pega

• Must be familiar with Pharma industry

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field or equivalent experience

• Competencies:

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment.

• ITIL certification would be preferred

• Service Now ticketing system, JIRA

• Ability to work independently and aggressively track project timelines

• Proactive in taking on new initiatives and in implementing improvements which will contribute to the whole team's success.

Details of project The role is for a developer who will help the team with web development tasks. He would be responsible on working on JIRA tickets assigned to him/her to deliver application features.

Top 3 Must have skills : Experience in VM, Linux technologies, Java and Shell scripting, Oracle and DB2

Secondary must have skills: IBM MQ, JBOSS and Tomcat

Job Description:

Must have solid 5-8 years of relevant skillsets

Work with the design and business solution team to understand and define the system and business requirements

Develop/maintain detailed technical design and specifications based on requirements

Conduct feasibility studies and proof of concepts with regard to new user requirements

Analyze changes and impact of change to existing applications

Undertake software development and coding tasks

Undertake reviews on programming and testing done by team members

Provide testing support and troubleshoot issues raised during testing

Able to come up with estimation and manage work area to project schedule
