Senior POS Test Engineer

Job Description:

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) testing and Retail systems

• Ability to define and execute end-to-end test strategies and comprehensive test scenarios.

• Proficient in integration testing across store systems and enterprise applications

• Experience with API validation and troubleshooting (e.g., Postman, Swagger)

• Working knowledge of related retail systems such as:

o Merchandising applications (item setup, promotions, pricing, contracts and deals)

• Ability to operate independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proactive risk identification

Responsibilities

• • Execute POS functional, integration, and UAT cycles.

• • Validate core POS workflows including:

• o Payments, tenders, loyalty, promotions, store pricing, returns.

• • Ensure end-to-end coverage: requirements, edge cases, risk-based scenarios.

• • Document test cases, results, defects with high traceability and reporting discipline.
