Resource should be working closely with all stakeholders – Business Analyst , Product Owner, Technical Architects in internal Factory to accomplish the following:

Own, maintain and extend test scenarios for API test

Automate test scenarios for UI and API using java based framework.

Participate in solving development / architecture issues connected to test automation

Participate in extending a complex multi-repository test automation solutions

Participate in owning, maintaining and improving pipelines & CI/CD for API Test automation (Jenkins)

Should be responsible to review Automation scripts and provide feedback to improve quality of coding.

Increase automation coverage of existing & new features

Share best practices & processes in test automation

Perform internal review for Test Scenarios submitted by team members.

Skills Required

• Senior knowledge of software testing tools & techniques, in particular – Browser & API test automation [ Selenium, JBehave, RESTAssured, Cucumber ,Git, Maven ]

• Have profound knowledge in XML and JSON and Should have worked in any of the databases – Client SQL ,MYSql etc.

• Have good experience in SOAP and REST API functions.

• Senior programming skills (preferably Java) & deep technical knowledge (API)

• Have good DevOps experience (Jenkins, CI/CD)

• Have good knowledge about the development cycle & AGILE methodologies

• Have excellent communication skills

• Be proficient in both written & spoken English – required
