About the role
Job Title: .Sitecore Developer
Location: Slough Berkshire
Type: Permanent position
3+ Years of experience in developing web applications based on .NET with 2+ year of hands-on experience in Sitecore platform
Experience in Sitecore and ASP.NET MVC framework and jQuery Javascript, CSS and HTML5
Experience with Data Templates, Renderings, and Content items with configurable/resuseable components, using placeholder settings, insert options, standard template values, design layouts, inherited base templates designs, and compatible renderings
Knowledge of configuring xDB, Lucene, Solr, custom Sitecore pipelines, using Helix design principles, setup Security Roles/User settings, setting up of Content Delivery and Management environments (CD/CM) for live and testing websites
Knowledge of Sitecore Architecture and Design, Common API Classes and Security Model
Have experience in developing REST based web services and windows services
Strong relational database experience including database design/ normalization preferably on MS SQL Server
