Software Dev Engineer II

Job responsibilities

• Building data ingestion pipelines (event-based and scheduled).

• Writing Java-based services to consume and process data from external APIs

• Building cloud infrastructure on AWS including using AWS CDK.

• Building automated processes to test data quality

• Being part of an agile development team

Requirements

• Passion for delivery high-quality code

• 5+ years experience writing commercial-grade Java software applications.

• Test-driven development, which includes Unit and End-to-End Testing

• Experience with Agile software development (Scrum).

• Experience with continuous integration and deployment approaches and tools.

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or relevant related work experience.

• 2+ years cloud development experience writing infrastructure as code (AWS essential)
